It’s Over 1,000,000!
That’s right… I busted the “Over 9000″ graphic out.
Why?
Because on Thursday, December 25th, 2008, I was rewarded for several years of hard work and it seems only right that I celebrate with a meme that is known by all. Now I’m sure many people will read this and go… “So what?” While others will join in on giving some ‘ePats on the Back’. But for me this is a pretty significant milestone for someone who’s dedicated the last four years of their life to Digital Media.
The last four years I’ve made thousands of clips ranging from shows like Epileptic Gaming to full event coverage like the World Cyber Games. With a job focus like this everything, including success, is measured by the number of video views you get. We had our fair share of successes including over 1.6Million views of World Cyber Games 2007 from Seattle. However, this individual success is the best of all.
The following clip is the first internet video to get 1,000,000 views on it’s own. It’s the Leeroy Jenkin’s Interview from BlizzCon 2007. It took over a year, but it’s still an awesome milestone in this ongoing career in Digital Media. Here’s to a million… and here’s to a million more.
