djWHEAT is a Video Game Host, Producer, Creative Mind, TV Show Host, Game Historian, Mainstream Enthusiast, Media Personality, Geek, and Poster Boy for Videogame Addicts.

Most recently, Marcus was the lead producer and head commentator of DirecTV’s Championship Gaming Series (CGS) which was the first televised international competition for gamers.  Marcus ‘djWHEAT’ Graham has been delivering video game digital media on the internet since 2001.  He is the driving force behind several popular internet webshows including Epileptic Gaming and CGS Live!  After a traumatizing event involving zombies and sharks, djWHEAT decided that there just weren’t any good gaming shows on the internet.  In 2002, while enjoying a game of Pokemon on the toilet, djWHEAT got the idea for Epileptic Gaming.  An “over the top” gaming program that went above and beyond what was being offered. Lots of grey hairs and 300+ episodes later, djWHEAT continues to produce videogame digital media to the audiences who demand it.

Marcus ‘djWHEAT’ Graham is also a globally recognized Broadcaster and Internet Celebrity.  Having covered some of the most high-profile Pro-Gaming tournaments, djWHEAT has continued to push competitive gaming to the masses since 1999.  djWHEAT has also put alot of focus into the ‘new gaming audience’ and building communities around them.  As the average age demographic of gamers continues to rise, djWHEAT recognizes the need for a more mature and honest voice that speaks to all generations of gamers.

HISTORY:

Born in Boys Town, Nebraska, djWHEAT got his first taste of gaming on an Atari 2600. Little did he know, that first game of “COMBAT” would suck him into a world that would take over his entire life. From that point forward gaming would become his #1 priority. During his teen years, when djWHEAT was grounded he would have his consoles taken away and would be forced to go “play outside”. During college, he neglected his classes and decided to Major in “TEKKEN 2 on PS1″ instead. Even now, djWHEAT has been known to throw his responsibilities aside… just to get his gaming fix.  Throughout college Marcus focused on writing reviews and editorial for various videogame websites and also found time to jump on the microphone to rant and rave about his favorite games.

Although console gaming is a major passion, djWHEAT has also made his mark in the Professional Gaming realm as well. After retiring as a player, djWHEAT picked up the microphone and pioneered a new era of gaming coverage… Game Commentary. He quickly developed a unique and understandable style of Play-By-Play that continues to be popular among eSports enthusiasts. He’s traveled all over the world to cover gaming competitions, and sticks out from the crowd due to his overwhelming amount of passion for games.  In 2002, he began an online media company called iTG (Inside the Game) which quickly grew and was sold to the Global Gaming League (GGL). iTG became GGL’s Media and Production department and Marcus was put in charge. In this position he produced and hosted over 100 pro-gaming competitions around the globe, and eventually went on to create the hit daily show, Epileptic Gaming – the internet’s first magazine style program geared towards gamers.
